Any major events happening on these dates?

We are going to disney September 27th to october 11th 2017, I know that the park numbers can vary greatly so are there any days that there are special events/ local holidays going on at the parks during these dates? I need to avoid mega busy days as my daughter can't cope with it.

Last time we were in Florida , we booked the MNSSHP on Columbus Day, what a big mistake that was , the parks were absolutely heaving.

My plan would be to avoid the parks on the busiest days , and go shopping or do DiscoverCove on the most busy days. I need to book my D/Cove package now to get the discount from my t/agent.

Epcot Food & Wine Festival is on for the whole time you are there, it can get really busy especially Fri-Sun from mid afternoon onwards.
