2nd resale contract?

Does purchasing a 2nd resale contract impact the perks that we currently receive on our initial contract, that we bought before Disney introduced the new rules?

Also, should we be looking for a contract with the same use year?

Finally, are there any problems linked to buying at a different home resort?

Doesn't change the perks you already have, just that you can't use the resale points for any of the "swaps" like cruises but that's not a good way to use points anyway.

I have different use years, different resorts and find it very easy to manage. I just use each contract alternate years.

Thank you for your reply, it helps with the decision about buying a 2nd contract, if only by the dollar rate would improve...
