Thank you! I know I'm being daft as we go in March, but really keen to get a reservation at Chef Remy's 😂

That could be right - so last sitting would be maybe 3.30 pm
In which case book for lunch and think like a Frenchman - they regard a daily 2-hour 3-course lunch break as their right! Also bear in mind, Bistrot Chez Remy is based on the concept of a popular French chain who only sell one dish - steak frites - and have queues round the block! Remy is not quite that limited, but there is only one starter (unless you go for the posh menu) and only 3 choices of main course in the standard menu. This is deliberate - however, no need to worry as the steak was the nicest I have ever had in DLP and our server was great. We greeted him in French as we always do, and he was so shocked he challenged us to conduct our entire conversation in French! My rusty 30 year old school French is terrible but he loved the fact that we tried!

Do make sure that you book Remy's in advance, dont wait until you get there.
We were there on 16th & 17th December and had booked for lunchtime on 16th, they were turning people away as there wasn't capacity. There were no available tables until the 19th December. The restaurant has never been full each time we've eaten there, but they only have a certain number of staff on duty so very often there are sections of the restaurant that isnt being used. Have a lovely time. |

I would concur with this point in January too- I watched staff at Walts, Annette's, king Ludwig's and Inventions turn guests away as the restaurant was at capacity.
I think over the last 4-5 years it has become increasingly necessary to book tables in advance of travelling- it use to be easy to walk up to most places and wait if need be, but I think guests are more aware they can book which is making it more important. The only place you can't book is the Rainforest cafe, but neither there, Ludwig's or Planet Hollywood will accept the dining plan vouchers.
