what to wear on travel days?

We were on the LHR to Atkanta Virgin flight a few weeks ago and it was absolutely Arctic! I had loose trousers and a vest top as I am almost always hot when I travel but I was wrapped in the fleecy blanket I had brought with me plus the Virgin blanket. Lots of people in jackets and hoodies were asking for blankets too but they didn't increase the temperature at all. In fact on the way home I had the emergency exit seat and the cabin crew asked if I wanted another blanket as it can get chilly sat there it I was fine without any at all. Goodness knows what was wrong with the heating on the way out there!

I bought some patterned almost pyjama material trousers in Primark last week. Will wear them with Skechers trainers a vest top and hoodie.

We usually travel out of the main summer months here so cold here but a lot hotter where we go. Usually jeans, tshirt and a hoodie and a thin scarf I tend to use as a blanket. Coming home after a fortnight of non dieting I usually don't wear the jeans 😳 But have trousers on and I've always appreciated the hoodie at Manchester at 6am... brrrrrr

I have some fantastic Pineapple trousers that I use. They have a lovely soft waistband and are so comfy to travel in, they are a combat kind of material.

You need to be comfy and not worry about how you look so much

I wear a dress then change into my pjs for the flight and the a quick wash and brush up before we land and back into my dress, I arrive feeling fresh

Every year without fail DW asks me what I am travelling in.

Every year my reply is the same, a Boeing 747-400

We go oct and come back Nov so jeans, t shirt , hoodie . We all feel comfortable in jeans anyway . We Leave coats in the car for return. We've come back to snow before so we've got to consider that.

I am struggling to think of what to wear as I intend to wear support socks/stockings as I will be 50 But I don't want them on show, If I wear long trousers it is going to be hot when we get there and you are supposed to wear them for a while after landing.
