We have just booked for the 20th - a price popped up for an inside cabin and whilst still expensive we went for it!

Where have people booked parking for at Tilbury?

We are going to stay the night before near Dartford to avoid driving down on the day - we get to see how many times we have to charge our Skoda Citigo EV along the way!

You can book parking at the port so you’ll be parked next to the ship.

Yes it was fantastic. Service and food in particular. Only thing I didn’t like was the seas seemed a bit rough (weather was decent sat at pool both days and swam) and there was quite a bit of cabin engine noise. I’m not convinced the ships are as stable as some of the bigger ones, and so didn’t sleep well. When I got off I felt like I was swaying when I was sat down yesterday and I’ve seen loads of people on the Facebook groups saying the same. I don’t get seasick and these things tend not to bother me, but when it wakes you up it’s a bit of a pain.

Quick question - Does anyone who’s been on the UK sailings know if they’re selling Disney Nuimos in the shops on board?

Thanks!

Nope - well at least I never found any anywhere. I had one with me and would have purchased an outfit but didn't spot them in either shop

I would try and stay the Essex side of the river instead, as the Dartford crossing can have awful hold-ups. Have a look around Lakeside.

We’ve booked the Doubletree Hilton Dartford using points, not sure where that is but hopefully close enough, we are coming from Dorset so lots closer than coming from home 😁

Glad you enjoyed it besides the sea sickness and engine noise.

Weirdly, I suffer with *extreme* sea sickness and prior to this I'd only ever been on a handful of ships with awful consequences.

I wore seabands on the Magic, and didn't suffer at all bar when I took them off to shower. I didn't get "mal d'ebarquement" this time either, which left me needing a Drs appointment last time! Sounds you had a nasty dose of that...

So, earplugs and seabands next time? 😂

Getting set for next week

one question i had about the prenetics though , i uploaded my vaccine proof and i got an email saying it was approved so when i log in i have my QR code and status is proof of vaccine approve - is this all we need to embark?

im a bit confused as on the prenetics website it says step 3. get cleared to travel, check you inbox after 24hr of uploading and up to 24 hr before travel. is this just referring to the QR code that i got ?

YorkshireT. We had calm seas but I was still rocking for a few days after we disembarked. I just assume it was late for the course.

CarsonMac. As long as you can see DisneyCruise on prenetics and it says approved you are ok.
