Hi - New Dibber!

Hi all, New (ish) dibber here.

Last went to Orlando in 2010 As a couple with my newly minted wife!

This time we are going with our daughter who will be aged 5 in the easter holidays.

Is it wrong that I'm slightly more excited than my daughter? :-)

It seems a lot has changed since I last went. For example there was no Star Wars (unless you class star tours!).

The prices for one! eg we paid £76 per ticket for two park universal tickets. Its now £312! Im sure that's more than inflation!

Anyone have any tips for a 5 year old hyper child who loves princesses? Or a slightly older child who loves Star Wars and Marvel movies!?

Hello and welcome.

Not sure I can offer any specific tips as we're taking our 8 year old daughter next year for her first visit (did DLP last year for her first Disney fix)...
As for being more excited than your daughter... same here but i'm more excited than both my wife and daighter put together... !

Actually one tip... if you want to be labelled as best dad in the world, or herr favourite parent then book a character meal with Princesses and/or book an appointment at the Bibbidi-bobbidi-boutique for a full Princess make over...!

Happy planning...

Thanks for the tip - she loves playing dress up - and as a princess so will get this booked up. can imagine its pricey but worth doing I think - I vaguely remember walking past it and anything that makes her feel special will be good.

Think the packages and prices are on WDW website just so you can see what you need to budget for. My Princess doesn’t seem to want to do it 😢 although by then she might have changed her mind!
