It was amazing, so well made, and tragic at the same time.

As a family (DD + DS) we were at the TT just 3 weeks before the mayhem as tourists. Its where we discovered ‘Century 21’

It makes it even more poignant in our case.

I saw the George Bush one and thought how well he came across. It was really interesting to hear it from his experience of that day. It must have been terrifying in Air Force one thinking they could be a target at any moment.

I’ve just watched One Day In America on Nat Geo. Absolutely heart wrenching. I don’t think I’ve ever seen footage of the 1st plane hitting before and it’s very detailed so it’s a difficult watch but extremely well made.

Me and DH had been up the towers the year before it happened and love New York so we’re completely devastated when it happened, although I find the documentaries upsetting I still feel the need to watch them all, have only watched part 1 of the Nat Geo one so far but it was so sad, that poor man who was caught up in it then to discover his sister and niece had been on one of the planes, I found the George Bush one really interesting on how him and his close circle dealt with the day and must admit have a much higher respect for him now.

Yes the BBC ones were both excellent... however think (what I have seen so far) the stories in the Nat Geo 9/11 One Day in America 6 parter are quite incredible... one of the best filmed and constructed documentaries I have ever seen...
