Can you purchase qsdp just for kids ?

Hypothetical at the moment but trying to decide whether to proceed with booking with dining credits attached... if they do bring dining plan back are you able just to purchase for kids only or 1 adult in the party plus kids or must you buy for whole party ?
Just thinking that if I book now with the free credit it would work if DP came out and I could purchase for some of our party if you see what I mean ?

No, DDP is added to all people in the room.

Ah ok, so if I bought QSDP I wouldn�t be able to use the $600 free dining credits then really ?
We are taking 2 rooms but is the dining credit tracked to ensure that specific room uses that credit ?

If you're going to only do QS dining yes. But I wouldn't purchase the plan in that case, I would just use the credits until they ran out and top up with cash. Will cost you far less overall.

However you can use the credits for any dining that wouldn't be covered by QSDP, e.g. a few TS meals, character dining, drinks at the pool bar, etc.

ETA: For using credit across multiple rooms, no they won't track/limit this. So if you buy all the meals one day and then the person in the other room buys the next, they're not going to care. This is true on QSDP as well.

Thanks we were really thinking that QSDP would be great for the grandkids so that at least we k ow all their food, snacks , drinks etc would be covered, weahdfree QSDP last time and it was super. Could we use the free credits to pay for a meal for example at RaglanRoad ?.

Yes you can. The leaflet from WDTC has a list of the restaurants that will accept the credits, as well as more info about the offer itself. Although note that the last time I read it, they didn't list any currently closed restaurant. So there may be more still to come once everything is fully operational again.

Your issue is that it's not possible to "just" have the kids in one room & only buy it for them, there must be an adult assigned to that room but you could just buy it for one room as long as they are separate booking numbers - just not sure it's worth it though.
