Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Loved it!
Knew nothing about it before saw it but was blown away - great humour as only Marvel seem to be able to put into their super hero films. Possibly my fav Marvel film Edited at 08:13 AM. |

I'm glad you both liked it. I saw the trailer last week and really want to watch the film. Not really DH's thing. I might have to be Billy no mates 😂

Just found out they are showing it on the Disney cruise ships so we are hoping to see it when we get on next week-along with Jungle Cruise

Watched it today. Really enjoyed it. First time in a cinema since Pre-Covid. Felt so good to do something normal on a Saturday afternoon and DS12 loved it too.

I was very ‘meh’ about this one- I’ve got serious superhero fatigue and don’t enjoy wuxia movies at all- but I liked it a lot. It was fun to watch without having to recall a decade of Marvel lore and watch multiple series on Disney+ beforehand. I felt exhausted just watching the trailers for Eternals and Spider-Man (the trailer for Dune was stunning in IMAX, I am counting down the days until 22nd October!)
I will be watching ShopDisney to see if a certain character appears in plush form in time for Christmas ❤️ |

Apparently this is one of the best ever Marvel films. I’m hoping it’s on the cruise next week.

I watched it on Saturday and although it is a good film and very enjoyable I wasn't blown away by it. It was an average Marvel movie for me. No better or worse than, say, Ant-Man or Dr Strange. And I usually like kung fu / wuxia movies.
I'm a little surprised by all the praise it's getting. It was great to see a certain character again (and Morris!) from around midway through the movie. And the mid-credit scene was good and a tiny hint of what's to come. For me, it was middle of the pack. It's certainly not as good as, say, Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, End Game or the first Avengers movie. IMO.
