We did them in December with no issues, my kids do go paddling in the North sea so are a bit hard

We did them in Mid-Feb, from memory it was about 23-24C on the waterpark days.

We only got cold standing right at the very top of some of the structures whilst also in the shade and a breeze. It was only for a few minutes and a complete non-issue for us.

But as others have said it can go cold in Feb too. On our only Disney day, it went from being 25C the day before to about 10C and damp...

I have been there in every month from the very end of January (first ever trip), to the beginning of September.

I guess that it is a horses for courses thing.
From late March, it is much preferable for temperatures, but also can be horrendously crowded with long waits for rides. That isn’t much fun.

In February, it may be, but will not always be cool. It can be rather warm. You hardly queue at all.

I would guess that the very best time to go water slide riding is after both Disney Parks have opened up and before the crowds are building up too much.
Depending on ticket purchases, Volcano Bay and Aquatica are both imho the equal to the Disney ones. There are four wonderful water parks to choose from!.. and Discovery Cove, of course!

Only ever been last 2 weeks of August, even then the lazy river water was freezing, dont think I'd attempt it in February.
