Yes glad we jumped on the booking when we did. Looks like it might be a full ship. Only a few balcony cabins left from what I can see. Not sure if they’re still running at a lower capacity or back to full capacity?
See you on there 😁

We are doing a staycation after Florida was cancelled. 3 nights in Blackpool, 4 nights in Loch Lomond and 2 nights in the Lake District so a sort of mini road trip

We were going to Budapest, booked in feb. Hungary is not letting British people in so a few weeks ago we moved it to Lisbon. Going for 4 days with another couple. Looking forward to exploring a new city, and hopefully the weather will be sunny! Looks like testing will be a lot easier/cheaper which is excellent news as this is would have been a real nuisance for such a short trip!

Just booked 4 days in Rome during October half term. I've not been to Italy since I was a child and DH and the kids have never been. Really looking forward to it.

In case you didn't know, Italy is really strict with its vaccine pass. Not sure how old your kids are, but over 12s have to have a green pass to go in restaurants, events, museums etc. Counted us out!

Thank you, yes I do know this. My kids are 14 and 17 so will need to have covid tests. We are only there for 4 days though so the test on Day 1 travel day should be sufficient. I'm hopeful the weather will be good enough to eat outside.

Both mine and my partner birthdays land in the Half term, one week apart so we have that time booked off but nothing in place just yet. Went to Cornwall for a few nights last year, weather was a bit blowy sometimes and I was 8 months pregnant.
Looking at a few options for this year but with baby in tow.

Staycation - Hoseasons or similar type
Portugal as a last minute booking
Ireland maybe?

Went to Poland for a week at the beginning of September, that might appeal to some?

Currently looking to book either:

Spain - maybe not warm enough
Portugal - again, maybe not warm enough
Turkey - more of a risky place to go
Lanzarote - really booked up and could be a bit breezy
And the wild card of St Lucia - my unvaccinated kids would need a test when they get there, which is what I wanted to avoid

Discounted:
Cyprus, Italy - too much faff with the vaccine passports in restaurants etc for kids
Dubai - masks while walking round outside put me off, and expensive in half term due to Expo
Canada - kids can't get in
Iceland - my eldest not vaccinated so can't get in
DLP - masks outside again all day
Barbados - testing again when we get there, bit risky
Antigua - can't find hotel for us all and seems a bit locked down at the moment
Mexico and Dom Rep - red but could get off red list soon

Probably left a few options out somewhere!
