Booking return flight with Avios

So I’ve managed to book an outbound flight with British Airways using an an avios 2 4 1 voucher over the internet. In a few days the dates will be released for the inbound flight. What’s the best way for me to link the bookings. Is there a number I should call?

Call at 1 am during BST or 12am during GMT on USA desk number, 0018004521201

I did this recently for our SFO return flight and it worked well. You might want to use a service like Skype to save the international call fees if not included in your phone plan

If you cant get through, Japan is another option on 00 3 3298 5238.

If you want to get in spot on release time to make sure you get them, call a little before 1 am as you have to go through security and also, sometimes you are on hold for a few minutes.

Remember to select the Executive Club option when calling.

When you get through ask them to add your inbound flight on to your original PNR - they will then calculate the extra taxes/charges to be paid which are less than 2 separate bookings.

However, if you do them as 2 separate bookings the agents can combine them into one but you pay more tax that way because they don't refund the difference.

I just called the Uk number as soon as it opened. We did have economy seats though so they have the most availability.

Called through this morning and managed to get the return leg booked and secure 2 business class seats. Can’t wait!
