Family of 4 on A330-200 VA UC
Has anybody flown UC on the ex Air Berlin planes as a family? I'm not sure whether to go for the 'love seats' with the two singles behind or 2 sets of love seats but be further apart as a family? My boys will be 10 and are both confident fliers. Anybody have any experience?

We’re on this plane in April and my boys will be 11 and 8. We’ve booked 2 sets of love seats as I’d rather be closer to them. Not just for safety reasons but it’s just nice to be able to enjoy the experience together (maybe only time upper for us).

I've read a few threads on here saying that those planes will be gone by next year and replaced with newer/different models.
The seating plan will probably change by the time you're going. |

I've lost count of the amount of different seat numbers I've allocated and moved over the past 2 years. At one stage or another over this time I've been in economy, premium economy and upper class on the B747, B787, A330-300, A330-200 and A350-1000. I think I've covered the whole fleet now haha!
Think I might go for the 2 sets of love seats for now then and wait and see |

They’ll be fine in the ‘love seats’. They can either sit together or you can each spend some time alternating between them should you wish. It’s a good option for families.

Excited about Disney

We’ve book the whole of row 3 so the kids get the 2 window seats and me and my husband get the 2 “love” seats in the middle. We’re now waiting for the plane to be changed as they will be out of service by the time of our flight.
