Legoland UK - Reserve & ride / Rider Swap
Just need some advice please, and are new to Legoland UK but DS absolutely loves all things lego so we are planning a staycation later this year!
We are (will be after this week) a family of 4... so when we go its 2 adults, 1 x 4yo and 1 baby. We are planning to stay overnight at the Legoland hotel, 2 days of tickets, and for one day have the Reserve & Ride Ultimate pass. I believe this is basically an FOLP for most rides 1 time only. We will be getting 3 passes. Anyhow, how does rider swap work with this. We would both like to experience the ride with DS and I expect over the course of the 2 days we probably would. However, on the day we have the reserve and ride, would both parents be able to experience the ride with DS using the reserve and ride and rider swap system? Effectively meaning DS would ride twice. Thanks in advance, and also any tips on Legoland in general would be fantastic. Thank you.

I can't help with the rider pass as we have Merlin passes so we've never used them. However, there's not many rides where you won't all be able to go on together. The Dragon is a two seater rollercoaster, but one of you will be able sit behind. Most rides there are designed to accommodate families.
I'm also not sure you will be able to do parent swap as your son will have been already used his pass for that ride, but I may be totally wrong with that. I can highly recommend going back to the hotel for a rest half way through the day, it's lovely to go and sit and chill out in the bar and have a bit of down time, you can get food there too and it's nice to have a sit! Staying in the hotel you'll be the right side of the park for Mythica which is the new ride, so head there first as it gets busy and as everyone else will be trapsing down the hill to get there you should be done and dusted before they even arrive at the queue. Another long queue can be Ninjago and Laser Raider, the queue for Laser Raider always drops towards the end of the day and so does Ninjago. You'll have an absolute blast and you'll be able to get everything done in the two days.

Thank you Claire. That’s some great advice…. Is it a short walk to / from the hotel?
Not been before so not sure what to expect but know DS will love it. It seems there are quite a few rides with height restrictions and it probably not suitable for a 2 month old. So one of us will have to wait off the ride whilst DS rides with the other one.

You can get directly into the park from the hotel. It’s not a huge park, but it is very very steep so if you’ve got a pushchair you’ll probably want to take the train up and down to the top part of the park.
Your son will love it! The driving and boat school are also great rides.
