Gare du Nord to DLP
My mum is getting the Eurostar on her own, and meeting us at DLP. We are travelling on the day via Le Shuttle. We aim to reach DLP around 4pm, around the same time as she should be getting there. I want to make this as smooth and stress free for her as possible. Is there a way that she could buy train tickets for Gare Du Nord to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy Station in advance?
Has anyone got an fool-proof ideas/suggestions/advice? What is the best way? She doesn't want a private transfer as it would be significantly more expensive, and time saving isn't necessarily an issue as that would mean she arrives way before us. I'd like to prepare a step-by-step guide on what to do on arrival into Paris but I have never done this journey so would have no idea! |

Those instructions are really good.
I don't think you can buy tickets in advance but there are loads of machines and they are really easy to use (and have an 'English' button). I would say take the RER B rather than D, as there is absolutely no distance to walk when you change to line A - it's the platform in front of you. I haven't done the RER D version so I don't know if you need to use stairs/escalators to change.

There are lots of YouTube videos out there too - this one looks very clear and helpful.
