Virgins Villas

Hi ,

we are currently booked to stay at the orange lake resort in a 2 bed apartment with Virgin but the DH wants to change to a villa. Can anyone please tell me the difference between Virgins standard and select villas, and how far we can expect to be from the parks.

Thanks

I would suggest you choose a Villa location, for example, we always choose Highlands Reserve from Virgin.

Leaving it to them is a bit of a risk as you might get Southern Dunes, although it's lovely, it felt like a really long drive after a day in the parks.

Hi Sue, they are both allocated on arrival so you could be at numerous locations. We stayed in a VH Select Villa in 2019 and it was very nice though was a touch too far away from restaurants for our liking.

When we booked, the difference between them both was the location being closer to theme parks, supermarkets and slightly nicer interiors for the Select. Though if you look on VH now they both say within 21 miles of parks so that might have changed. The VH website has all the details or give them a quick call.

I would go AOA again tbh, i saved us quite a lot of money though i have seen likes of Highlands Reserve only £130 pp more recently.
