It is really easy to be concerned after all our failed trips, i agree that i think more testing would be the first option before closing the doors altogether, were due to go a week on Monday so praying nothing comes in to make things more difficult, have just ordered 2 of the new LFT tests at £21 each that on its own is a form filling mission !

I think we might see more testing required of UK visitors, but not full on closed borders again. I'm sure other governments will want to show they are taking action if our cases our rising and new variants emerging here again.

I’d be shocked if we closed borders on our side. Remember the uk never closed its borders for a long time choosing to allow people to enter or transit thru. Wether they have learnt their lesson is another thing. Other countries or the European Union may have different ideas.
If borders close this winter then it’s game over for future winter breaks. What companies or travellers will put up with such a carry on.
