When will Disney be rid of masks outside?

**UPDATE**
Universal have now updated their mask policy that comes into effect tomorrow:

Universal Orlando to stop requiring face masks outdoors
New policy effective May 15

clickorlando/theme-p...s-outdoors/#//

For those that have missed the latest update the CDC have now said that fully vaccinated individuals don’t need to wear a mask be it in or outside. The CEO of Disney has also hinted that masks will be gone by Summer. Disney are also offering the vaccine to all of their staff.

This all sounds very positive to me, what are other people’s thoughts? I think mask wearing inside may remain for some time but masks outside will be gone in the next couple of months.

I can't imagine the Cast Members wanting to wear masks outside in the heat for any longer than they have too either.

I don’t know, but I’m just hoping that there is no masks needed outside by the end of august. If by some miracle we do get there this year, It would be so much easier in the heat! Indoors I don’t really mind.

They should keep the mask rule until their staff are happy to work with 35000+ people not wearing masks or social distancing

i have the news on right now talking about this Indian variant, its depressing but sounding like nothing is nearly over!. I pray for normality and no masks but still feel unsure about it all right now!..Disney will also be praying for normality and no masks but what can they do?..

We go in September so I'm hoping they are gone by the summer! I don't mind wearing them indoors like the UK but not outside in that humid heat. I'm hoping we don't need to wear them on the plane too.

Following the quote from Bob Chapek yesterday, I have voted July for outside mask wearing to be dropped at Disney.

Iv been watching golf in the USA and have noticed big crowds squashed together with no face masks. I’m presuming it’s already allowed for sporting events outside so surely on a step away from being brought to other events and venues.
Disney and other parks did a great job bringing in their own restrictions to get their parks up and running and protect their staff. As quickly as we accepted wearing masks we will discard them. It would not surprise me to see no masks by the 4 th July.

The Disney unions agreed masks till the end of the year so they would have to renegotiate with them before making any changes.
