When will Merlin Passes return?
Does anyone have an idea if and when the merlin pass may return for new buyers? Currently only available for renewals, and mine ended pre pandemic. Would the June re-opening allow UK parks to open up to near full capacity?

I don’t think they have set a date for new passes yet but I do know the pre booking system is here to stay atleast till the end of the year so keep that in mind as it’s a pain.
People have been buying the old style ones from Costco and they have been fine so may be worth a try? I would assume they’ll open to full capacity when restrictions are lifted but whether that’s June or not is another matter! Edited at 08:21 AM. |

There is a chance they might bring them back in July, if social distancing restrictions are reduced and they can increase capacity. Also the cheap park only passes (same price as a full price one day pass) that they previously sold (which they no longer do and won’t be coming back, we’ll certainly not for the price they where in previous years) are due to expire at the end of June for most people, following the extensions for the closed periods last season. This should allow Merlin to start selling the annual passes again.
