We had a week in June in Cornwall and a week in Edinburgh in September, lucky with the weather on both occasions.

We enjoyed mini breaks to York and London earlier in the year, and we've just had 8 nights up in Scotland. Arran for 4 nights - 2 at Auchrannie resort and 2 with DS; Glasgow for 1 night (so we could shop and go to Miller & Carter ); and 3 nights at Dunkeld House in Perthshire, the weather could have been better but we enjoyed the break, the food and being waited on.
Looking forward now to a few days in London this weekend, and the Disney 'Do'

We had a wonderful week in Majorca in July. It was a super easy process and as we are double jabbed, the return testing was no problem. Booked the whole thing online and in advance via BA holidays and one of their partners for testing

Spent 2 glorious weeks in Croatia, I can't even explain how invigorating it was to finally do something "normal "
I still get butterflies thinking about it now.

We had a brilliant week at flamingo land with the grandson and our two girls. We loved it so much we booked another week for next year.

Loved the fact all the rides were free and there is a zoo too. Apart from catching Covid it was so much fun 😊

Last year we booked a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales - last minute. Thought we could spend the week visiting various waterfalls, all outdoors so nice and covid safe, and bonus was we could take the dog. We loved it so much we decided this year to do the same but in the Cotswolds. Again found a lovely cottage and had a lovely time.
Think even once international travel is easier we will still continue with our uk cottages - maybe one week in UK and one abroad (apart from our Florida trips, which we have never done every year anyway)

Absolutely nowhere until last week when we did a short cruise on the Marella Discovery.

First time away from home since January 2020, apart from work.

We managed to get away to Gran Canaria for 10 nights in October.
It was lovely to get away and have some sun
