Wow, have never seen the Premier Inn at Bath Road so quiet. 😯 But then we usually turn up there at about 9pm. We thought last time we were there, the rooms were long overdue a refurb, so would have hoped that they’d have had time to do that over the last 18 months. Apparently not.

Hope you managed to get your charger at the airport. I bet they do a roaring trade as we’ve had to buy one there too. 😂

The room felt bare and basic. Surprising what a difference that 3rd bed made!

I can’t believe I forgot it! Out of practice on the packing list obviously ... It was an ok price at the airport - I thought it would be ££££££ but it was under £20

Pre travel day wouldn't be the same if there wasn't some minor hiccup of some sort...at least you realised you'd left the charger at home.

Disappointing cocktail in a can...I've learned to stick with the basic G&T as other drinks don't seem to hold up to being in a can.

I wish I'd known you were staying at the PI on the Bath Road as I would have picked you up and we could have gone up the road to The Pheasant where they do AMAZING food! Next time definitely!

Ha ha yes, at least it was the charger and not some paperwork

Mmm, that sounds like a plan on the canned cocktails. I was glad I’d taken one as the bar was closed but it was terribly sweet.

Aaargh, that would have been fab! That’s what happens when it’s so last minute you don’t think straight ! Definitely making a note for next time
