Erm…. Yes I do believe you, that’s why I asked for the link. I just hadn’t read the thread, but have searched through others to find it…

Why the attitude? Please re read the post again without a defensive attitude. You may realise the why I asked.

Thank you

Unless you are constantly on your phone refreshing for changes, or at a very very quiet time.

Anyhow, I agree… I expect this will impact only a minority of people.

I know we have very rarely fast passed a ride more than once per day.

Our situation has changed with DS last time and next time with 2 boys, but think the only ride we will do more than once in a day will be IASW. This we would do in EMH, maybe have a fast pass… then later in the day with a q of 10 mins say.

Even at Universal with unlimited express passes we would never do a ride more than once per day unless it was brand new and exciting and we had to try again…
I’ve quoted two posts where you are “surprised” that this is a thing and your tone suggests you don’t really believe it. If I’m defensive that’s why.
In the other thread you’ll also see that someone who had never done it couldn’t really believe that people did it. I’m always amazed on this site that people can’t see people doing something they wouldn’t themselves.

Keep trying to justify your rude response!

Good luck and Enjoy

Historically I rode the same rides multiple times with fp, but never got to ride TSM fp as I dont do rope drop, i did join the air conditioned standby in the hottest time of the day for 2hrs.

FP+ I stayed on-site and got the 60+10day, that got me the rides I wanted, and additional fp+ on the "lesser" rides eg buzz lightyear. for the offsite guests the headliners were hard!

Genie+, have to pay but rides are released through the day, no one will monopolise a single ride so you get to ride more different rides. The genie free system will give you a heads up on the rides with smaller queues. The paid lightning lanes, if you pay you get on quick BUT not so many will pay which means the standby queues move faster.

If I go to Alton Towers I either go on 3 rides or I pay for their fast track to get on more rides at way more than $15, if I go to universal I do limited rides or pay $90+ for express passes per day.

For me WDW is acceptable, you do standby taking advantage of genie for no additional cost or pay $15pp to ride a selection of rides quickly, for one park if you pay ILLS for 2 rides its still less than Universal express pass.

By reading what is on offer. I much preferred to be able to ride a specific attraction using FP more than once a day for no additional charge as opposed to being able to do so once a day for $15 per person.

Does it really matter if it's a big thing or not? If you never did it, then great, the new system won't be any different in that regard. However, for those of us that did, its just another negative about Genie+.

Fair enough…. Maybe you will just have to work other ways on future trips to ride those rides over and over again.

Can’t wait for this system and by the negativity on this board it seems like not many people will take it up. Quiet LLs

Edit to add… also think this limitation makes it a much fairer system. Gives all people a much better opportunity to ride each ride either via LL or possibly a quicker standby line with people not booking FP after FP for the same ride.

I don’t disagree that reading about the new system that there are numerous things to be unhappy about, especially the cost for something that used to be free but you never know it may work well. We just don’t know either way. Hopefully the vlogs will start soon and we will see it in action.

I for one can’t think of any time we’re I have been able to use FP more than once for a specific attraction in a day. Nor do I feel the need we have to do any attraction more than once per day… and if we did we rope drop / EMH, use FP and / or wait for low q time.

Not sure this limitation is as big as people are claiming.
Have said on other threads (as have others, did this frequently on park days.
