Best Hotel / Location for free or cheap transfers to all parks ...

Good day all.

I am helping a friend organise a trip to FLA later next year. September/October 2015.

They are insistent that they will not drive That said I didn't drive my first trip either, but I do recall transfers can prove expensive if not built into hotel stay.

2 adults 4 kids. (2 single Mums and their kiddies) so will want to arrange rooms next to each other too, or adjoining rooms/suites.

as always advice very welcome. if they are able to get freebie transfers that would be wonderful.

So Hotel suggestions please ?

Budget whilst good, will not stretch to onsite hotels i'm afraid.

many thanks in advance

Hello stranger, hope all is well with you!

How about Hilton DTD (opposite DTD and usually competitve ) or Buena Vista Palace. Also have a look at places on this link:

Doubletree is walking distance to Seaworld the main Lynx bus hub is at Seaworld with direct busses from there to Disney. Might be worth a look.

They also do shuttles to Universal and the Lynx or the Iride goes up and down International drive

If you want I Drive parks and Disney parks then I recommend Marriott Village (I have a post about it in the Accommodation area).

Free shuttle buses to all major parks and bang in the middle of both areas

Plus... its close enough to Downtown Disney that they can get a taxi to there and then skip around the parks using the free Disney shuttles...time consuming though

Clarion LBV, free shuttles to all the parks, plus on the #50 route to Disney/Seaworld... good price for rooms, plenty of dining nearby and dependant of time of year/temp/age of kids easily walkable to Downtown Disney.

I am booked in next July in The Point Orlando Resort for the last 10 days of my trip. It is near Wet n Wild and Universal and has free shuttles to Universal and Disney. They are one bedroom or two bedroom apartments, get a good rating on trip advisor and the best rate I found was through the hotel website itself..quite reasonable. Can't speak from personal experience though
