Booked venetian through travel republic - what’s the catch?
Booked this sept for 4 nights for £290 plus taxes. Very cheap compared to hotel.com etc. Is there any catch? Anyone have any problems with them? Have only paid £15 deposit so no problem if I cancel. Just never seen a rate so low for this hotel😯

Rates are very low in Vegas at the moment so that sounds like it could be right anyway (especially if it’s not the weekend)
I expect resort fees will be on top of that? I have paid less than that historically (through Hotwire) so there have been bargains in the past

Yes it’s Sunday to Thursday so maybe it’s right then. Booking.com is over £1200 for same dates! And yes resort fees on top which work out approx £133

Hotels in Vegas often offer cheap room hoping to make up the difference with resort fees (which always stick in my throat) and spending in casino and bars etc - although the resort fee is a given the rest is up to you. There are bargains to be had if vegas is your bag

I think we paid $80/night and we were Sunday to Friday so I definitely wouldn’t worry

That is really cheap. Just yesterday I did a quote on Venetian website, for 5th Sept. for 3 nights and it was something like $225 per night plus resort fee taxes. You are paying just over 70 pounds per night so that is an absolute bargain. I have checked many sights for our dates and its way way over what you are paying. I have used TR on many occasions without issue. Thats a great deal I will check it out myself!
Just checked and its only offering me Palazzo and its 507 pounds for just the 3 nights. Still a good deal. What dates are you going? Edited at 05:15 PM. |

Travel republic has now gone up to the normal rates so I’m glad I booked when I did. I went through trivago and noticed that alpha rooms still have the cheap rate. Just hope I don’t get a cancellation email as it does seem too good to be true!
We are going 19th to 23rd sept. |

Two days ago, I purchased two nights in the Luxor with the newly renovated rooms in the Pyramid for four of us, 31 August to checkout on 02 September on their own site. It came to £137 (or £68.50 per night) inclusive of all taxes.
I considered this a pretty awesome price. Edited at 02:14 PM. |
