Agree completely. The fact that anyone has been consistently negative in the past is of no significance. The only thing that matters is “status” at the time the test for travel is required.

We are hoping our trip from the 18th still goes ahead. I feel things are moving in the right direction. We are staying offsite as it was under half the cost. Not too worried about wearing masks as we we limit ourselves to early mornings or later on in the afternoon instead of whole days.

Feeling extremely positive today, my only concern is the PCR tests as it could be an extra Ł1000 on top of an already expensive trip. I’m hoping airlines assist in some way.

What do we make of the fact that Ireland has just added the USA to their "red list" meaning hotel quarantines on return?

Me too, just that our media have been touting the US as one of the few possible green list places we will have, and then bang, Ireland say its red...not even amber! What are they (not) seeing that we are(n't)?
