Family TV series with under 10s

We are trying to find a TV series we can all watch including my 8 year old son.

We tend to watch films rather than series so haven't given many series a go.

Any suggestions welcome?

Funnily enough I suggested Doctor Who but my DH is still freaked out from watching it as a child 🤣😱
I watched it as a child and was fine with it. DS would be fine too.

Simpsons might be a good choice.

Thanks

Mine at 5&6 they both been fine even though some of the episode’s are a bit weird. Both mine loved it but we’ve ended up not watching as much tv anymore

Lost in space (netflix), The Middle, and Modern Family as well as some of the Star Trek series (Enterprise and Voyager, now watching Discovery and hopefully sometime soon the new series of Picard)

Our 8 year old GS loves when we watch Horrible Histories together
The Simpsons is a good watch , the adult parts go over the kids heads

How about Ghosts? It’s a nice, gentle, family comedy available on iPlayer and made by the horrible history gang.
