September 2021 shocking prices
Ok I have just started looking at prices for this September 5th - 26th. Looking at either Standard or 7 Seat SUV they are around 3 times higher than i paid before, has anyone seen them ever been this high or is it due to Covid and there losing money so they inflate their prices.

Never seen them this high, ever... Crazy prices this year and I'd imagine its because the rental companies want to recover lost revenue.
I have prices through my offline system on the standard SUV starting at £710 with Sixt, £740 with Budget, £821 with Hertz and £849 with Alamo however I should be able to get that a bit cheaper if I check with my supplier tomorrow if you're interested. (all one driver except Budget and Alamo who include spouse as standard). |

I’ve been looking for October 30th for a few weeks now and the prices have been crazy everywhere. They will come down at some point so I just keep checking the usual suspects. I need a non spouse additional driver for 3 weeks so I’m expecting to end up with Virgin or Costco.
Virgin seem to have dropped prices today, which are heading in the right direction. £707 for a standard SUV with an additional driver for your dates. I would always hope for around £200/week for that, so it’s not too bad. |
