They have to clean the ship thoroughly between cruises so have additional protocol in place. On Princess departure time it says is 7am the last day but not sure what time they will allow us onboard yet (it comes on the documents you get at 75 day mark).

On regular DCL cruises, such as the ones we've taken in the Caribbean, you are turfed off very early in the morning as they need to turn the ship around for the next guests who will be boarding in a few hours time.

Given the cleaning protocols that will be required at the moment, I can't see it being any different.

We don't even have breakfast on board on disembarkation day. It's a matter of getting up, dragging the kids out of bed and shuffling off the ship feeling all depressed!

Should point out they do offer breakfast onboard I'm assuming you just choose not to as its so early? Some people might read this as they don't offer it as an option.

Yes - they do offer it, but no - we've never got it.

Yeah I can imagine it must be a nightmare with kids. Its hard enough dragging myself to that early breakfast I couldn't imagine dragging others with me. I'm thrifty and want to get my money's worth so want that extra meal
