Kali River Rapids, but not just from the ride. The heavens opened about 5 seconds after we’d pushed off. It was torrential rain all the way round and to top it off we got stuck on the ramp on the way back up to the dock where water squirts at you. Never been so wet! My feet turned blue from the dye in my shoes. Took days to wear off properly.

Not Disney but daughter and husband got soaked in Busch Gardens - not on a ride but on the bridge over the water ride where it splashes up (can’t remember the name!) Mike and I also got very wet caught in a rain storm outside Cafe de Paris in Epcot.

Leaving Epcot on our first visit in June 2013.
I could see the clouds coming but decided we had time to go on spaceship earth on the way out. Omg we were absolutely soaking. We waited for ages at the front then decided we just had to go for it. From then on we always keep dry T-shirt’s and a towel in the car just in case. |

Leaving EPCOT in August 2018 the heavens opened. We sheltered for a while but had an ADR to get to on The Boardwalk so made a run for it. We all had ponchos on but everything and I mean everything I was wearing was soaked through. Luckily the restaurant let us go back to our room to change and go back later. Sitting in vicious air con with wet everything would have been very cold 😂

I think the water rides at universal are far worse. My husband always moans and says we may as well just get a hose and stand under it! He’s thrown his pants away after the water rides there several times! I always dress very carefully in quick drying clothes!

Universal Jurassic Park water ride September 2016. Had to buy my husband new shorts while he dried his underwear in the gents. Was ok in the end though as the new shorts are his favourite and we never would have bought them if he hadn't got drenched.
