Ordered via 3rd party. Can I buy insurance in advance with supplier?
Hi All,
Looking for a bit of advice, please. I am visiting Orlando for two weeks next march. When looking for car hire I noticed Discover Cars offer me 50% cashback through my employer's benefits program so I decided to book a car for two weeks through them and used Avis as a supplier as I know them as a reputable company. I opted to pay for the additional full cover insurance via Discover Cars which cost £71 but this is 3rd party and not with Avis. I'm concerned I may need to put down a hefty deposit when I get there and if there are any accidents I need to go through a 3rd party before I can get my money back. I can cancel the additional insurance with Premier Cars for a full refund so my question is. Can I buy insurance from Avis in advance before I get to the desk to give me a bit more piece of mind? I also do not see CLI insurance included. Only CDW and LDW. Although I am reading this needs to be provided by default in America? Is this maybe why it isn't stated? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Edited at 02:41 PM. |
