Orlando Villa in August this year. Who best to book with?
I'm looking to rent a villa from 15th - 20th August this year and having looked at loads of sites I'm now confused about who is best to use.
We have a group of 8 but the way it's made up we need at least 5 Double rooms and a twin. We also want a pool table and a private pool. I guess availability will soon become a problem if the government announce travel to the US is back on. What would you guys suggest? What sites offer the best cancelation policies. My budget is around 2k Any advice? |

Honestly I think you will struggle to get a 6 bed in August for your budget especially with 5 doubles
You could try the Dibb Villa rental section on here Hope you do get what you are looking for |

2k in August this year is unlikely to get you what your after you’ll probably need to increase your budget

So far we have found loads of available villas with Airbnb, Holiday lettings, Orlando villas and booking.com. We were hoping to hear what sites other Dibbers had used and if they had any advice around cancellation policies etc.
As far as price is concerned, we have seen quite a few 7 bedroom villas with availability for our dates and all within 2k. Saying that we could easily stretch to 3k if there was something absolutely amazing available. |

We normally book direct with the owner, but this year have booked a villa with BA as part of a package. If needed, we can cancel and receive a voucher up to 3 weeks before travel. I was looking on VRBO, and their cancellation policy seems to vary by property, some had no cancellation option, but others allowed a full cancellation within 4 weeks of the booking. I think it’s a case of looking at which site offers the most flexible booking options.

We use a villa from the Dibb. Its on Windwood Bay. Steve@Mac55 is the user name I think. I know he has availability in August due to a cancellation. Well worth having a look at. There is a review in my user name

There are loads of 6 beds on VRBO for between 1-2k and if you filter on cancellation many of them allow free cancellation up to 14 days before. If used them many times with no problems.

£400 a night, that’s a huge budget. You won’t have any problems getting a great one. Try Vrbo for a short stay and good cancellation policies.
