Mobile Whats your plans today?

Its only morning and I am bored!
Its going to be a long, boring day. Weather is shocking so no gardening and I am stuck in unable to go out anywhere this weekend.
Mason is not into watching a movie, so thats not an option.
My daughter is working so we can’t have a girls day doing hair etc 😒
So what are you doing on this wet and miserable Saturday?

We’re booked to go out this afternoon but the weather is dreadful. The restaurant does have canopies and heaters so we will give it a go 😄

I was lucky as spent yesterday at RHS Wisley (in the sunshine so have a sun kissed face) today have done my house chores and been to M&S and Waitrose (2 separate trips) as hosting a BBQ tomorrow (again lucky as weather set for good/very good tomorrow) - will do my accounts today then maybe a siesta with my book. Perils of insomnia up before dawn doing my chores and my slop chit is now clear - but my body feels like it is 6pm lol

Edited at 10:40 AM. Reason: Speling

Snap. My husband is convinced our 7th July holiday will definitely not happen now.

We were hoping for a small BBQ to celebrate DH 70th birthday which was last Tuesday but the weather has cancelled that.
Nothing planned now so probably just watching TV all day 🙁

We normally have a big festival in our town today, which has been cancelled, probably for the best as weather is atrocious, usually have loads of dances through the streets, my dd11 would of been leading the children’s dance for all the local schools, and it would of been her last year dancing in primary, so feeling a bit sad, may take a walk into town for a traditional drink or 2 and a pasty later if the weather gets any better!

Dog walk #1 done. It's been ages since we had a good drenching so I just took it on the chin. Needless to say, after 15 minutes or so of continued downpour, the rain stopped, so if I'd waited for a bit, we'd have stayed dry.

Two more dog walks ahead - one around lunchtime and one late afternoon - and I'll also go for a run, probably 10 miles or so.

We've got a watching brief on the weather for a back garden social and drinks with friends. If the afternoon weather is dry and looking like remaining that way then we'll do it today, otherwise we'll try tomorrow.

And like most Saturdays, today's dinner is going to be homemade pizza for dinner, so we'll need to factor in time to make the dough and allow it to prove. This might be quite tricky if we're out at friends, but we'll cross that bridge if and when we reach it.

Been up since 5:30 - the dog loves these light mornings. Managed to get out to walk him before the rain came...!
Been shopping at Lidl. So, stocked up on "stuff" for the week...
Now just sat watching my ebay listings end and the cash come rolling in... Much needed for WDW 2022 spends...
Taking the DD swimming at 12ish for another lesson. Then it'll be a post swimming treat (assuming lesson goes well) - Subway/McD's/Starbucks...?!?!
Then after that... hopefully get to just do nothing for the rest of the day...
