I won't comment on his behaviour, other than to say you deserve so much better than that.

Enjoy the planning and anticipation of what, I'm sure will be a fab. trip.

My solo trip (ages ago now) was amazing. It's just so relaxing to be able to do what you want, when you want. It almost feels decadent! I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Single rider lines help a lot and I always had something to read/ a word puzzle to do etc. in restaurants (even if I didn't use them), which made me feel much more relaxed. ...Might be a good opportunity to update a TR if you do one. ... Or, as mentioned above, I sat at the bar. Overall, I found many CMs particularly chatty with a solo guest.
