This is a brilliant idea, and speaking as a nurse, I can confirm that we are easily attracted by sweets & chocolates, especially when breaks are limited!

And if he kicks off and tries to wreck the joint, I can advise that such items do much to placate the attending Security Team.. in the unlikely event that the Nurses have not already eaten them!

Reusable straws , my friend was in hospital and needed them desperately and apparently they didn't have anything and he had to struggle to hold a drink

Lip balm! The hospital air is really drying. If hes into his grooming a good moisturiser too.

When I was in recently a fleece blanket was useful and magazines were good as my attention span for books was rubbish.

Netflix for his iPad a good idea 😉
