Day 11 and 12

Day 11

Volcano Bay Day

We had an amazing day here. It was our first time and we were so impressed. The slides are thrilling and the volcano itself is beautiful. It is definitely not a relaxing day, but a 100% a must do for any thill seekers! I had my phone and camera in the locker all day for safety reasons so I didn't manage to take any pictures of the food - but we did have some tasty steak tacos and an ice cream!

For dinner we tried Texas Roadhouse on the 192 on recommendation from a friend. The food is excellent value for money and I personally loved the atmosphere. If it was your birthday, they made you get on the back of this mini bull and sing to you, it was hilarious. I had a sirlion steak which was more like a fillet as it literally had no fat on which was great! I got it with shrimp, onions and steak fries.. soo good! We will be back!

Day 12

Epcot - My favourite park

As we were sad that food and wine wasn't on yet, we decided to make our own and eat our way around the world
We got there for Rope Drop to ride Soarin (got a FP for Frozen) and had breakfast in Sunshine Seasons in the Land. I had a really nice chicken wrap and a powerade.

1st stop - Refreshment Port
We love watching DFB on YouTube and they always talk about poutine from here so we gave it a try. We had the classic poutine and signature one which is the canadian cheddar cheese soup on top. Both delicious.

2nd stop - La Cava del Tequila in Mexico
We tried some margaritas here. My favourite was the avacado one - very creamy. The other one had chilli salt on the glass so it was very hot!

3rd stop - Various Locations in Germany
I had a lovely rosé cider from the weinkeller I believe? (Not 100% sure). And we had a pecan caramel treat to share

4th stop - Katsura Grill in Japan
I had a green tea colada which was so refreshing! We had a selection of sushi and some miso soup to share!

5th stop - Rose and Crown in UK
This stop was extended due to us seeking shelter from the storm so we ended up eating here too! We shared some chips and a chip butty (not quite the same as home but still good). We had a selection of beers and ciders too. A great afternoon in the pub

Just read your report so far, some great meals. I see you get crisps with the chip butty which is a bit strange. A server once said to us that we Brits love our potatoes and often have them for starter and main!

Thank you for reading! Yes we found this strange too - but we've noticed that everything seems to come with some side of carb in the US e.g. fries, bread, tots, chips etc.

Day 13 and 14

Day 13

We spent the day at Busch Gardens but didn't eat anything here so no food pics.

For dinner we went to Carrabbas Italian Grill.
The wine and cocktails were lovely We had a berry belini and pino noir.

I had a shrimp linguine for mains which was huge but delicious. Struggled to eat it all due to the free bread I had aswell!

Day 14

We went to Hollywood Studios for the day and got to see Toy Story Land
LOVED slinky dog coaster and toy story mania as always. The park had improved so much due to this addition.

I had a toy story themed iced coffee from Jofferys which was fab! It has sprinkles and a biscuit on top.

For lunch we tried the new Baseline Tap House - another new great addition to the park!

We shared a few small plates...
- Bavarian Pretzel
- California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate
- Coffee-rubbed Rib-eye Steak Puff with Olive Salad

They were all delicious
