What do you take?
OK, going in a few days and just wondering what do people take.
Wife said small cereal, tea bags and marmite. What else food wise do you take? Tia Monkey |

We only take coffee as we don't like American brands.
Make sure you declare either on the customs form (increasingly likely that you won't be given one) or on the automated kiosks. For some reason I can't link the official US C&BP page that I must have posted on here a hundred times. Is this another GDPR issue? Loads of USA web sites that I can't get on now ranging from restaurants to newspapers. Mick

It's basically meat, fish, dairy, fruit, nuts that should be avoided. Therefore Marmite is OK (yeast) but Bovril banned (meat).
A lot of Dibbers especially those with young kids take cereals and villa stayers take a lot of consumables such as dishwasher tablets. We don't as we always have a visit to Publix on arrival. If in a villa don't take UK toilet rolls. Florida drainage pipes much smaller and the will block. Mick

I take nothing. You're going to the largest consumer society in the world and I take the opportunity to try American food items each trip

personally nothing but tea bags might be an good idea if you drink a lot of it as American tea can be a bit ropey

teabags, marmite, salad cream, squash ems, washing capsules, chocolate, supernoodles and stuff like chedders, mini packs of jammi dodgers, fingers, animals for snacks for the kids, cheaper to take them than to buy over there, and means we have loads of room to bring stuff back!
