After Irma , anybody watching the weather

So is anybody else keeping an eye on the weather at the moment.

Whilst I appreciate you take your chance going in hurricane season( some of us don’t have a choice)
Having to fly out early prior to irma( which worked out fine) as we had more days holiday.

But find myself weather watching( hurricane Center and wesh news) that hopefully we can get away this year without any problems, it can do what it likes once I’m out there lol

We were really lucky last year and went out 24 hours after The airport reopened We were checking it constantly and weren’t sure if we would get out there on time. Trying not to check it too often this year!

Have been twice in september,been very lucky with weather each time
only one day each holiday with rain... so fingers crossed its same this time

I do! Can you believe it’s been nearly a year?! Seems like a few weeks ago!

Yes we are, had last years hols cancelled the day before we were due to go. We’d checked in on line, then had a phone call to say holiday cancelled due to Irma, no flights going. We’ve been about 14 times, same time of year, and this was the first time we got cancelled. Keeping everything crossed all will be well this year, only 15 days to go 😃😎

Yes, we were there last year during Irma, and I was so worried that another hurricane would mean our flights would get cancelled and we couldn’t go this year! Looks like we should be okay though!

We were right in the path of Irma last year hunkered down in Rotonda. This year we are more concerned with the red tide.
