Two Many Cooks - Food Trip Report - October 2018
Hi Everyone
I have previously done a full trip report for our May 2017 holiday (and plan to do one for this holiday too!), however I absolutely LOVE reading everyone else's food reports (especially staring at all of the photos of food ) so I thought I would give it a go myself, so I hope you all enjoy! Introduction So, who is going on this trip? it will be me (Lucy, aged 28) and my new husband (this still sounds SO weird!), Nick, who will be 29. Together we are the Cooks', hence the name of this trip report! Here are a few photos of us: I am a huge Disney fan and have visited both WDW and DLP a number of times. Nick, on the other hand, is not that much of a fan, however we went last year for his first trip as an adult staying onsite with DDP and he has agreed to keep going on Disney trips as long as we have DDP for each trip as he really enjoyed the food. If you want to know more about us, our wedding, or our plans then you can find my pre-trip report for my full trip report HERE The Trip We weren't supposed to be going back to Disney in 2018 as within the past 12 months we have bought a house, bought a car, gotten married and been on the most amazing honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius, however, I happened across some incredibly cheap flights and thus the trip was born! We are flying out from London Gatwick on 4th October with Norwegian and have booked the Hilton for the night before. We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel for the first 3 nights, before moving to Port Orleans French Quarter for the next 11 nights. I stayed at both the HRH and POFQ in 2016 and am really looking forward to going back this year as they are my favourite resorts. Last year we stayed at AKL and RPR and I just didn't like these quite as much. Most Importantly...The Food Well, this is what you are all here for, so here are our plans. We have moved them around quite a few times now, so hopefully this is now the finalised list! I will just mention the things that we definitely know, so won't be including many breakfasts as we will use snack credits for these most days 3rd October - Dinner: Nicholas Culpeper @ LGW 4th October - Breakfast: Nandos @ LGW // Dinner: Margaritaville 5th October - Lunch: Hot Dog Hall of Fame // Dinner: Simpsons Food Court (HHN) 6th October - Lunch: Cowfish // Dinner: Panda Express 7th October - Lunch: Antojitos // Dinner: Louie's Italian (HHN) 8th October - Lunch: Polite Pig // Dinner: Chefs de France 9th October - Lunch: Satuli Canteen // Dinner: Sanaa 10th October - Lunch: Chicken Guy // Dinner: Columbia Harbor House 11th October - Lunch: Earl of Sandwich // Dinner: Casey's Corner (MNSSHP) 12th October - Lunch: Epcot F&W Festival // Dinner: Narcoossees 13th October - Lunch: Blaze Pizza // Dinner: Woody's Lunchbox 14th October - Brunch: California Grill // Dinner: Yak & Yeti 15th October - Lunch: Sassagoula Floatworks // Dinner: Chef Art Smiths Homecomin' 16th October - Breakfast: Trails End // Dinner: Sassagoula Floatworks 17th October - Lunch: Charley's Philly Steaks // Dinner: Yachtsman Steakhouse 18th October - Breakfast: Garden Grill // Dinner: Chick-fil-A @ MCO Some of these were firm favourites from last year and some are brand new to us. The QS restaurants I am looking forward to trying most are Chicken Guy and Polite Pig which are both completely new to us. I think TS-wise, I am most looking forward to California Grill Brunch and Sanaa. We visited both of these last year and absolutely loved them so they were top of the list for this year. One of the other things I am most looking forward to is the Epcot Food & Wine festival. We visited last year for the Flower & Garden Festival and really enjoyed snacking around the world then, so looking forward to trying these offerings too. I have especially got my eye on the Maple Cheesecake and the Loaded Mac & Cheese Thanks for reading, and hopefully you will return for the start of my trip in just over a months' time!

You've got a great trip planned.
We love Cowfish and Margaritaville at citywalk so I'm excited to see those meals. Plus some of our favourites from WDW. We missed out on Polite Pig at Disney springs so that's firmly on my list for next time as it sounds like a great menu. Not long now until you're off, hopefully the next few weeks won't drag for you.

Thanks, absolutely can't wait now!
Oh you will have a fab time - both of the hotels are absolutely brilliant! First tip: make sure you factor in some time to spend at the HRH pool, its really great! Thanks! Hopefully it will not disappoint! I am really looking forward to Cowfish and Margaritaville as they are both new to us. The only places that I have eaten at Citywalk are Bubba Gumps and Toothsome as we have only ever had limited time there previously so will be great to spend a few days over at Universal We didn't get to Polite Pig last trip either. We were there just after it opened and we just never got around to it. Really looking forward to it though! Time seems to be going quickly which makes a nice change! This time next month we will probably be boarding
