Grande Villas & Cypress Pointe - Views?

I can get a great deal on Grande Villas & Cypress Pointe but know nothing about them. Has anyone got any views on whether they are decent places to stay or not?

Main thing we are looking for is nice clean accommodation with a decent lively pool for the kids to play in during the day and evenings too.

where are you getting good price please?

stayed at Cypress Pointe - very nice pool, spacious rooms, dated decor - was a fee for wifi when we stayed which was annoying - but great location.

We have not stayed here for ten years but we loved the location and the space we got for a three bed unit at 32/night (plus tax but it was literally a few dollars per night).

I would not describe the pools as lively particularly but our kids enjoyed them.

Cypress Pointe and Grande Villas are kind of connected but have separate designated check ins. They are Diamond Resort timeshare properties. Members dont pay the resort fee which includes the Wi-fi, parking, mini golf etc. We havent stayed at Cypress Pointe but have stayed multiple times at Grande Villas and should be there again next year. GV has a convenience store/takeaway pizza onsite if you really cant be bothered to move theyll deliver to the room. When staying at Grande Villas you can use the pool at Cypress Pointe (the volcano one you see in the photos online). I gather that the decor at Cypress Pointe may be a little more dated than Grande Villas. We love the size of the 2 bed Grande Villas apartment which also has full kitchen and laundry facilities and the location of GV and CP is brilliant.
Whilst there is an entertainment programme during the day and also movies by the pool some evenings its generally fairly low key which is perfect for us after parking hard!
Within walking distance are Steak n Shake, giordanos, Mannys (LBV), a pharmacy and a Wawa gas station amongst others.

Just reading lots of bad reviews on TripAdvisor which I usually ignore but these are relating to pushy timeshare sales which I hate so might give it a miss.

Never had a single mention of timeshare on our stay - did not even know it was one!
