Parks just before Xmas?

Hi all,

I'm planning my first solo trip to Orlando for the last week and a bit before Xmas (coming home before the big day!)

Has anyone else been this time of year and if so can you shed some light on how busy / what the queues are like at the parks (both Universal and Disney)?

I think this will be a fantastic time of year for a trip but if the parks are all full to bursting I might be put off!

Parks are busy for about a week before till about 4th Jan then parks are empty. The first weeks of December are normally ok but you see everywhere getting busier over the time!

I go the first week of December normally to do my Xmas shopping and do a park or 2 as everywhere is dead!

I went the week leading up to Xmas and only did US & IOA. IOA was heaving but US was really quiet. IOA was like it is in July/Aug but US definitely quieter.
