We are desperately trying to book too! Got as far as choosing a date and time and then knocked off! Frustrating!

Did you get a good quote?
It was a good quote for the learner driver insurance- but wanted to see what would happen when she passed. I might try again and ring them

We get to choosing a date and then it says no dates. I think it’s silly that it asks you to choose a date before choosing a test centre.

I think at this rate we will be lucky to get a test before Christmas

We've managed to get to booking date and time and then kicked off when we click to go to payment details! Aargh!

Hi just popping here to ask when is the best time to apply for a provisional licence? I remember a woman from work at the start of year saying she’d totally forgotten to get a provisional before her sons 17th and so the driving lesson present she’d planned was ruined. So how far in advance if 17th should you get one? Welcome any tips

Think the earliest you can apply is when they are about 15 years and 9 months old. So you could do it whenever. It's worth doing even if not going to drive immediately as it's often used as an Id. Plus some Insurances ask how long you have had your license (provisional or otherwise).

I'd have said A Fiat 500 would be ideal. I had one for 4 years, not one problem. Loved it and felt very safe.

Wow! Never dreamt you could this early. Right, will get on it. He turned 16 in June so that’s something we can do thanks so much

You can apply 3 months before.the class of provisional license you need I believe. So 15 and 9.months would be for a provisional moped license not a car provisional license.
