Some interesting thoughts

I thought the significant bits were
- the Andrew /Freddie distinction
- the way he learned off the first bloke that he has bulimia traits more than just making himself sick
- that he thought bulimia was just about making yourself sick so clearly hadn’t researched his illness despite having it for 20 years
- how meeting with the parents of the man that died seems to have made Freddie realise that bulimia is a serious life threatening illness

I actually think Freddie has risen above his illness and I don’t think it’s been consistently present over the years but that actually making the programme has made him more scared of his illness .
He now needs to decide if he feels his symptoms are severe enough to warrant full investigation/therapy . I hope he takes the opportunity to get himself sorted

Finally watched this programme last night and thought it was very interesting.

I think he knows On some level he needs help but doesn’t know how to move forward and acknowledge it.

The overwhelming feeling I took away was sadness and disbelief... a reporter probably sat behind a desk earning minimum wage can affect someone’s life FOREVER with some throwaway words that were written and probably never thought of again... the power of the press is scary.
