Mobile Advice please! Wedding certificate from USA

Hi all,

I am after some advice as we’re completely stuck on what to do!

Last year my husband and I got married in California before embarking on a road trip/flight to Orlando!

Since that point we still haven’t actually received our wedding certificate from the OC courthouse as they need a cheque or money order of $15 before they send it out.

I have no idea how to send the money to them as our cheques obviously are in pounds sterling. Has anybody had any luck getting their certificate sent back home?

They don’t accept cash or debit card/credit card payments. Just the form and a cheque or ‘money order’.

Many thanks in advance if you’re able to shed some light on what we need to do!

You can get a money order from the post office.

Actually I don’t know if that’s still true. I’d probably stick $20 in an envelope with a note explaining you can’t send a cheque.
