Thank you.

We would be arriving on the Monday and have the hotel for anaheim booked from Tuesday so our other option would be to go somewhere nearer for the 1st night and do some sight seeing before moving to Anaheim Tuesday night. Possibly a better idea?

Think it would be a better idea. Just a quick tip. If you stay somewhere near the Chinese theatre area (not the best area to stay but ok for one night) but it’s very convenient for the most popular sights & the hop on/hop off buses & other tours. Also, the Hollywood & Highland Mall is next door & you can see the Hollywood Sign (in the distance). Best from the Nth/East corners. I think we went to Level 5.

Hi... we didn’t do a tour and drove ourselves from Santa Monica base. We had 1 full day in LA to do everything we wanted before we drove over to Las Vegas...

We did:

WB Tour
Saw Disney Studios gates
Griffith observatory (not too long but great view of the Hollywood sign)
Griffith Park and the carousel Walt used to take his daughters to
Rodeo Drive
Beverley Hills
Hollywood Blvd

You can find the day in our report here: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...1#post11892161

Hope this helps.
