UPDATE: Serious old dibb girls question?

My wife is having her hair styled and highlighted shortly and we are running low on change, so it's costing £133 and a £5 tip seems low which is all she has apart from a £20 note (I know it's not America), would you old girls tip more (£10 seems more reasonable - but she will need to get change)?

£5 tip? Are you joking? I would never tip that amount 😉

You are winking, so I'm unsure if that's too low?

Can't you just pay an even £140 so a £7 tip? I'm guessing at those prices you're in London 😮

West London ish (technically Middlesex). She's paying on her card so the cash is just the tip.

Mine normally costs around £85 plus £5 tip, but i have an appointment next Monday and will tip more. Probably taking it up to £100 all in. Thats for colour, and hidden foiled colour under. Cut and rough dry. I don’t get a blow dry!

£133 for a hair do? At that price they can forget the tip... I pay £35 for cut, colour, blow dry and straighten and tip a couple of pounds...

No I'm joking at the fact that I've never tipped £5 in my life, it's way too high.
Obviously London prices are totally different to here though.
Maybe I'm a Scrooge 🤔😃

All my friends think I am mad when I tip £5 they usually pay nothing, but I think £5 tip is fair. Plus £1 for whoever washes my hair.
