I like that she even asks us, the audience , what we would do in certain situations! Felt very interactive and like theatre for me

i've become increasingly intolerant of bad english accents (usually posh ones as that seems to be the default for most tv shows and movies). dorothy from doom patrol is probably what's triggered me recently, and its not been helped by watching matthew horne do a "tim nice but dim" style character in an online comedy show ive been watching...

that kid on the train in enola holmes was the final straw for me. i hated him within a minute of him appearing in the movie and gave up 10 mins later.

But Louis Partridge is a rather posh sounding young Englishman, not sure he can help that...

👍👍

He is English and this Is his natural RP accent - I would rather hear his natural voice and accent rather than a poor put on accent Plus it suited the role perfectly (in my opinion)

We watched it last week and all enjoyed it (me, DH and DS10).

I’ve never heard the expression “breaking the fourth wall before”, but really felt those parts made it for me.

We started it last week but I can’t stand it when people talk to the camera. I ended up switching it off but thought it was because it was just me and DH watching and I’d give it another go when the girls want to watch something.

I'm with you, though haven't watched Enola Holmes yet. I'm watching The Haunting of Fly Manor and the accents are doing my nut in!
