Mobile Christmas - the time when (join in)

Family members insist on taking a sweet out of the celebration tub and putting the empty wrapper back in.

Come on - join in ! I'm sure there are things that happen in your house like this ... and not just at Christmas !

Wifes who are demanding and aren't excited when their husbands give them a £10 superdrug gift voucher for Christmas (so ungrateful).

People (husband) who put rubbish by the kitchen bin rather than in it.

ThIs is for my mum (hasn’t happened to me). The time when the relatives say “let us bring something to contribute as you’re feeding our family of 7 plus your own family of 9. They turn up with 1 tin of spam. Then aunt & uncle wanted to go to local pub for a drink before dinner...Mum wasn’t happy (although she didn’t let it on to us kids), Dad didn’t feel he could say no to the request without being the killjoy, so aunt, uncle, dad & nan&grandad go to pub leaving poor mum to cook dinner and supervise all the kids on her own! I think the biggest insult was the tin of spam when my mum always made a beautiful 3-course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, bubbly, wine, beer, spirits, an evening buffet (all home prepared & cooked). Can always remember Mum saying she wished she’d just told her to keep it.
Fortunately when i’ve had relatives over they’ve always helped out.

This made me laugh, my dear Nan, who is no longer with us, used to have a number of sweets than wrap each wrapper into the next one which made it look like she had had one sweet then stuffed the overly sized wrapper down the side of the armchair she would sit in, always made us laugh at Christmas!
