Box sets on Amazon prime

A couple of weeks back we started watching Downton Abbey on amazon prime. We are now coming towards the end of season 2 but the app seems to be saying that it will be removed in 7 days which is not a lot of time to watch 5 more series !

Does any know how long box sets are available on Amazon Prime for ?

Thanks

It varies depending on the contract they have with the original company that owns it.

I don't know how many streaming services you have, but we tend to notice if something disappears from Prime it shortly ends up on Netflix or vice versa.

We have (amongst others) Amazon Prime, Disney+and Netflix . So hopefully if it does go from Prime it will appear on Netflix.

Thanks for your reply.

Starz on Amazon is great but a bit extra (I got a deal 99 pence a month for 3 months).
Has some great series on. We are currently watching The Spanish Princess which is the story of Catherine of Aragon. Pretty historically accurate as well.

Might even just go to Brit Box which is a collaboration of the British terrestrial TV channels.

Fantastic series. I went on to watch the Tudors afterwards.

Moving on is really good on Amazon. Quite old, but it makes you think rather than just watching it
