Mine is wrapped in a bleach free cover and stored inside a trunk. It's such a waste really but I couldn't part with it.

Bought mine for £132,then sold it for £110, good for it to be used again, dont see the point of hanging onto something you will never wear again. I know a girl, paid £3000, now its under her mums bed, such a shame and its a beautiful dress. Xx

Mine was chopped up by my mum, and made into my younger son's christening gown.
My older son was christened in my christening gown, which was made from my mum's wedding dress. But Son 2 was too big, as we didn't get organised in time! |

Mine is in a wedding dress box on top of my wardrobe and has been there for years. I occasionally get it down and refold and wrap it as I was advised to do.

Mine is in a suitcase in the loft probably moth eaten.
We recently emptied my in-laws house and we found a dress that my MIL wore on her 21st birthday. It was all beautifully folded between tissue in its original box. My daughter tried it on. We have kept the dress although it won’t ever get worn. But after it being saved for 68 years I couldn’t get rid of it. |

Mine is in its box in the corner of my bedroom. It was originally stored in my parents wardrobe but they moved.

I paid £200 and had it cleaned and boxed, and it’s sat in the box ever since. I don’t really know why I’ve kept it now, I should have sold it on at the time or have given it away, but it will no longer be in fashion now. It’s just sat in the box and doesn’t take up much room, so there’s no hardship in keeping it, but it’s a bit pointless and a shame when it could have been passed on and worn again at the time.

I tried to donate mine to a charity for terminally ill brides. But they didn't want dresses that were more than 2 years old. Which is a shame!
So now its in a box in the wardrobe.

After 23 years of marriage I’m getting divorced so mine went in the skip along with the photo album and video.
Before that it was just hung on the spare room door.
