Just do what you can, 10,000 steps is roughly 5 miles & 10K is 6.2 miles so not much more than you do anyway

had an awful day but on the plus side, I didn't eat through I stuck to my plan and I managed to get energy and time to cooked the planned meal. Few months ago it would have been takeway. We also went to lovely walk after dinner

I am not doing monthly goal next month. The month is nearly gone, and I am at 4.5lbs down. I can try to get to 5lbs but no way it is going to be 7. I don't want to feel disappointed that I didn't reach goal if I am going steady in the right direction

But I am going to need at least 4/5 more months

I will push myself to get to 5lbs as this will mean 20 euro for the charity, or 50 from 1st of January

That’s a good idea, you’ve still lost this month so don’t be down. I have only lost 1lb over the last two weeks but I’m going to keep plugging away.

Really well done yesterday and still cooking.

I intend to continue too. I’d started SlimmingWorld this time last year and had a decent weight loss but then I lost my way towards the end of the summer and went a bit mad! Got myself back on the wagon in January and this thread has kept me on track. Losses have slowed down for me but the encouragement on here keeps me going and chipping away!
There is also a SlimmingWorld type food flog on the groups section with recipes, photos etc that is really helpful

So I set myself the month of Feb to start losing some weight. Have been inspired to get my 10000 steps everyday by your efforts on this thread and made today the end of month weight in (who does a weigh in on a Sunday?!). Am pleased for me and my charity that I have lost 10lbs this month, will keep going for March and see how much more I can shift.
